Promoting amateur sports and health-oriented physical exercise programs

“This football project, implemented through the RNK Split 1912 program, takes place in the area of the City of Split and the Municipality of Hrvace, providing access to sports activities for children and youth in both urban and rural environments. In Split, the activities are conducted at the Park Mladeži (Youth Park stadium) complex, which includes a main natural grass football pitch, training pitches with artificial turf, a technical training ground, a tartan track, a gym, office spaces, and an education room. This infrastructure ensures high-quality work across all age categories with a capacity of 345 participants, encompassing training sessions, fitness preparation, coach education, and competitions.

In the Municipality of Hrvace, the program is implemented in cooperation with the Football Club Hrvace and the Municipality of Hrvace, with an emphasis on including children and youth from underdeveloped areas. Activities include training sessions, tailored programs for participants with special needs and vulnerable social groups, and participation in local and county competitions. The partnership with NK Hrvace provides access to sports and education for children who otherwise lack regular opportunities to engage in organized sports activities. It also fosters knowledge exchange between the coaches of both clubs and enables player participation in joint camps.

Through the systematic implementation of the program in these two areas, RNK Split 1912 ensures inclusivity, the accessibility of sports, and the development of young football players in diverse local communities. This contributes to achieving the goals of both the National Sports Program and the local sports community. Furthermore, the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport through this public call is of exceptional importance to RNK Split 1912.”
