Project description
Project activities
The central component of the project is the continuous implementation of sports and sports-recreational activities throughout the entire project implementation period, including school holidays. The activities are adapted to the age, abilities and individual needs of the children, and are conducted by professional coaches of RNK SPLIT 1912, with an individualized approach and work in small groups.
The project also includes educational workshops , focused on developing healthy lifestyle habits, physical hygiene and body care, proper sports nutrition (with the involvement of parents), development of social and emotional skills, encouraging girls’ participation in sports, and understanding sports through play and adapted educational content.
Starting point and purpose of the project
Children and young people at risk of social exclusion, children with developmental disabilities and children and young people with behavioural problems often have difficult or impossible access to organised sports activities, primarily due to financial barriers, lack of support or the absence of adapted programmes. The project responds to these challenges through structured, inclusive and professionally managed sports programmes that encourage the holistic development of children and young people and strengthen their inclusion in the community.
Expected results and sustainability
The project will contribute to increasing the involvement of children and young people from vulnerable social groups in organized sports activities, strengthening their social, emotional and motor skills and reducing the risk of social exclusion. The project results will be integrated into the regular activities of RNK SPLIT 1912 , with continued cooperation with partners, thus ensuring long-term sustainability and the continuation of inclusive sports programs even after the end of the project.
The role of the applicant
RNK SPLIT 1912, as the applicant and project leader, is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of project activities, project team management, financial and narrative reporting, communication with partners and competent authorities, and compliance with all contractual and program obligations.
